We have a chance – together – to look for the good, to search for that better way. We believe that better way represents something of the kingdom of God, the shalom that Jesus talked about. So we would love you to join us at a special event in Durham in which some of us get our heads together and ask the question: what is the better way? The better way for relationships or fatherhood or politics. Or church. The better way to do life, love and faith. A better way to think – about the world and the people around us.
threads is hosting the event, but as a collective we love to hear from other voices. So if you live near Durham and are able to attend the event and would like five minutes to share your own thoughts on a better way, we’d love to hear from you.
All you have to do is send us the title of your proposed talk (“A better way to/for….”) and a 50-word description, as well as a 50-word bio of yourself, to [email protected] with the title ‘A better way Durham’ by Sunday, 8 June.
Whether you’re pitching a talk or not, we’d love you to come if you are in the area. Just let us know if you’re coming by emailing [email protected] You can also RSVP on Facebook.
We’re not sure where the answers will take us. But we’re certain that we’ll all be on that journey together.
We’re pleased to be hosting this event in collaboration with Durham-based Ideas Hive.
