I have a friend who has put together a suicide plan.
He lives with depression.
And darkness.
And despair.
He walks stooped. Weight on his shoulders.
“The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned” (Matthew 4:16).
I pray that the Light of the world would break into his life.
Chasing out darkness.
Illuminating.
Bringing joy, peace…life.
Come, Lord Jesus.
